Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking an IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures within Interventional Radiology. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role requires operating fluoroscopy systems, ensuring patient safety, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should have graduated from an accredited Imaging Program, completed required clinical hours or RCIS training, and hold AART (R) or RCIS certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or RCIS training certification.
• One (1) year of relevant experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• AART (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform fluoroscopy and interventional radiology procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication during procedures.
• Provide critical support to physicians and nursing staff during complex imaging procedures.
