Job summary

Penn Medicine's Department of Radiology, Interventional Radiology, seeks a Physician Assistant to join our team. The PA will evaluate, manage, and provide procedural care for drainage catheters and tubes, with initial focus on drains and tube management and eventual expansion to central venous access.

This full-time role offers collaboration with 15 IR attendings in a fast-paced hospital and opportunities for professional development within a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistant (Required)
• Physician Assistant (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to drainage catheter management and vascular access.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and APPs in patient care and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care plans for drains, tubes, and vascular access patients.
