• BLS certification required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in Interventional Radiology procedures and clinical evaluations.
• Obtain detailed patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-rays, ECGs, labs, etc.).
• Administer injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
• Provide pre-operative counseling and obtain informed consent.
• Record pre-, intra-, and post-operative notes and orders.
• Maintain thorough documentation of histories, findings, treatments, and procedures.
• Develop treatment plans with supervising physicians and provide discharge instructions.
• Provide post-operative wound care and patient education per protocols.
• Refer patients to physicians or specialists when appropriate.
• Prescribe or recommend medications and therapies within scope.
