Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a procedural environment and assist physicians in invasive radiology procedures.

The role emphasizes patient care, equipment readiness, and timely room setup, with focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or compact licensure; active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• ASN/ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience strongly preferred; BLS and ACLS required.
• Good critical thinking and communication; basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for invasive radiology patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians during procedures and ensure equipment is available and ready.
• Set up procedure rooms promptly and monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Document patient status accurately and communicate changes to the team.
• Administer medications per physician orders and monitor responses.
• Maintain safety, infection control and high-quality patient care standards.
