Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and collaborates to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire
• BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required
• ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
• 1 year acute care experience required

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
• Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
• Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
• Administer Lasix
• Place Foley Catheters
• Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
• Start IV in difficult sticks
• Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator
