Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is hiring a Medical Assistant for the ambulatory care setting. The MA collects health data, aids providers, and participates in patient care across the lifespan under supervision. Responsibilities include vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with point-of-care testing.

Qualifications include completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program and BLS within six months. Certification such as CMA/CCMA/RMA is preferred.

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• BLS certification within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong relationships with physicians, APPs, nurses and clinical staff.
• Gain exposure to complex cases and expand clinical skills.
• Support patient care and communicate care plan to patients or caregivers.
• Assist in ambulatory care under defined practice guidelines.
