Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support radiologic and interventional procedures. This role helps ensure patient safety and efficient workflow within Radiology.

Responsibilities include coordinating supplies, maintaining aseptic technique, and assisting during procedures. Preference given to students in radiologic tech programs and those with IV certification.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and coordinates activities during surgical procedures by anticipating needs and supplies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and safety protocols during use of instruments and equipment.
• Keeps accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Gathers supplies and assembles before procedures.
• Ensure specimens are correctly handled and routed to proper source.
• Other duties as assigned.
