Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and providing instructions to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Review patient information via electronic medical records, document activities, and communicate critical findings.
• Perform diagnostic vascular examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing, adhering to protocols unless clinically necessary deviations are justified.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Certification and registration with ARRT or CCI required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience, including surgical settings, preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation.
• Ability to perform non-invasive vascular exams proficiently.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Work Environment

May involve exposure to physical altercations, verbal abuse, hazardous substances, body fluids, blood, and radiation. Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety policies are mandatory.
