Job summary

Somerset Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Washington, DC, to provide high-quality patient care and assist with IR procedures alongside physicians such as IRs, vascular surgeons, and neurosurgeons.

You will help in developing the IR department, training staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting department operations from scheduling to dosimetry and safety. A relevant radiologic technologist credential is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Two years community college or vocational training in a certified radiologic technologist program.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist credential.
• Upon hire: ARRT - National Registered Technologist in Radiography.
• Upon hire: BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures with physicians (IRs, vascular/neurosurgeons).
• Plan and coordinate quality care in the IR department.
• Support development and training of IR technologists.
• Contribute to operational processes in IR including scheduling, supplies, safety, and inspections.
