Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join the Radiology Department within the Dignity Health Medical Group. The practice covers inpatient, emergency, and outpatient imaging in a collaborative academic care model.

Candidates should be board-certified or eligible, hold an MD or DO, complete an IR residency, and have ABR eligibility. The team includes 2 advanced practice providers; generous salary, sign-on, relocation, CME allowance,

Responsibilities

  • Practice up to 100% interventional radiology across inpatient, emergency, and outpatient settings.
  • Educate diagnostic and interventional radiology residents, rotating residents, and medical students.
  • Collaborate within a supportive, academic care model and participate in program development.

Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Interventional Radiologist you will join our Radiology Department at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and work within a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment. The Radiology group provides our hospital with both inpatient, emergency, and outpatient imaging services. Our academic hospital provides teaching and research opportunities in our integrated care model.

In this role, you will practice up to 100% IR, manage a case load that includes a mix of interventional oncology, portal hypertension, venous/thromboembolic disease, dialysis interventions, lymphatic interventions and trauma in addition to general IR. You will educate diagnostic and interventional radiology residents, rotating residents, and medical students.

To be successful in this role, you will be a board certified or board eligible Interventional Radiologist. You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. You will exhibit effective communication skills and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • Candidates must be committed to the IR clinical practice model
  • Research or similar academic activities are strongly encouraged
  • Call and shifts are distributed equally among 4 interventional radiologists
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers support the service
  • Candidates encouraged to develop service lines of particular interest to them

Job Requirements
  • Board-eligible/Board-certified
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona and Nevada
  • Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited Interventional Radiology Residency Program
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)

Pay Range

$600,000 - $675,000 /year
