Job summary

Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking an Interventional Procedures Assistant to support the procedural team. The role is part-time with weekday day shifts, 7:30 am–6:00 pm, requiring full-day commitment 2+ days per week.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing equipment, obtaining vascular access, and managing supplies. On-call rotations include weekends with 45-minute response to Evanston or Highland Park.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience in an acute care setting or nursing/allied health students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of tasks/skills before, during, and after IR procedures to assist the procedural team.
• Prepares sterile and nonsterile equipment and materials used in the procedure.
• Acts as scrub assistant and supports physician and radiology staff during procedures.
• Assists physician in obtaining vascular access and related line/drain placements.
• Manages supplies and restocks as needed.
• Keeps energy level high and handles physical demands of the day.
