Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with NCCPA certification.
• NJ Physician Assistant License required or equivalent for NP track.
• Experience in primary or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs histories and physical examinations and ongoing patient assessments.
• Assists with admission work-ups and facilitates care across the continuum.
• Initiates, monitors, and orders treatments and referrals as needed.
• Re-evaluates patients and collaborates with clinical staff on plan of care.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care for patients and participates in quality improvement.
• Documents transfer of care notes and contributes to policy development as needed.
