Job summary

Maimonides Health in Brooklyn seeks a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our busy, expanding academic practice. This is a 100% IR position with inpatient/outpatient consult service, admitting privileges, and a team including NPs, RAs and radiology residents.

We offer a collaborative environment with Level I Trauma, Stroke, Breast, Prostate, PE, Fibroid programs and state-of-the-art Oncology treatments as Brooklyn’s only dedicated Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of IR procedures in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and participate in interdisciplinary conferences.

Job description

Maimonides Health, Brooklyn’s largest tertiary care center and the major teaching hospital for the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine, seeks a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our busy, expanding academic practice.

This is a 100% IR position. Our inpatient/outpatient consult service, with admitting privileges, performs the full gamut of IR procedures. Our team includes NP’s, RA’s and Radiology residents, with 2 ESIR positions per year.

At our main campus, we have one biplane, several single plane and hybrid/OR angio suites. We have dedicated CT/US equipment.

In addition, we have a very collaborative relationship with our clinical teams supporting various programs including Level I Trauma, Stroke, Breast, Prostate, PE, Fibroid, etc. We perform state-of-the-art Oncology treatments as part of Brookyn’s only dedicated Cancer Center. We participate in and conduct numerous interdisciplinary conferences.

Interest in resident education is essential.

There are extensive diagnostic and IR moonlighting opportunities.

Fellows, junior and senior interventionalists welcome.

Salary Range 450-650K
