Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for locum tenens assignments in Michigan, with 7:30 am – 3:30 pm shifts, including both outpatient and inpatient care. The role involves admissions, rounding, and performing vascular and non-vascular procedures, such as embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placements/removals.

Emergency IR cases like nephrostomies and cholecystostomies may arise, with preferred ability to read diagnostic cases between procedures.

Qualifications

• Outpatient and inpatient care with admissions and rounding included.
• Vascular and non-vascular procedures performed as part of care.
• Embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, IVC filter placements/removals.
• Emergency IR procedures such as nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, abscess drainages.
• Ability to read diagnostic cases between procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide both outpatient and inpatient care.
• Perform vascular and non-vascular procedures as needed.
• Carry out embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placements/removals.
• Handle emergency IR procedures including nephrostomies and related work.
• Review diagnostic images between procedures to inform care.
