Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our Radiology Practice in the Shenandoah Valley. The role offers daytime IR procedures, strong collaboration with referring physicians, and potential growth in oncology IR services.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified/eligible in IR, with IR/DR residency training, Virginia licensure eligibility, and enthusiasm for growing the Y-90 program and advanced oncology procedures.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited IR/DR residency or Diagnostic Radiology residency plus Interventional Radiology fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Energetic about growing the oncology IR service line and collaborating with referring physicians.
• Willing to read general radiology alongside IR work during growth phase.

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with a large network of physicians to grow oncology IR services.
• Participate in Y-90 program development and other oncology procedures as they arise.
• Maintain clinical volume and patient management with a team-oriented approach.
