Job summary

FKP Brandon Surgery Center in Brandon, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate fluoroscopy equipment and support interventional vascular access procedures. You will maintain sterile technique and assist a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification with an associate degree in radiologic technology, a state license/fluoroscopy permit if required, BLS, and at least 2 years of procedural radiology experience; SPD or surgical scrub

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and state license/fluoroscopy permit if applicable.
• Associate degree in Science or radiologic technology program, or equivalent accepted by ARRT.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for vascular access procedures and assist with recovery and turnover.
• Operate C-Arm/fluoroscopy during interventional procedures.
• Scrub in and assist with angiograms, angioplasty, thrombectomy, dialysis catheter placement, vein mapping and related procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and report breaks in sterile technique.
• Assist with positioning, patient transport, and procedural support.
• Count needles, sponges, and instruments; track medications and supplies.
• Maintain instrument sterilization and room cleanliness; monitor inventory.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and participate as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
• Assist with scheduling procedures and daily center operations.
