Job summary

CPIhealth in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join a growing interventional pain practice. You will perform C-arm–based imaging for interventional procedures, maintain quality control, and support a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires Vocational/Technical or Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited X-Ray program.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patient on examining table; set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view as requested by physician.
• Make exposures necessary for the requested procedures; ensure standards are met; reject/repeat as needed.
• Use beam-restrictive devices and shielding to minimize exposure.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Participate in timeouts to confirm patient identity and procedure details.
• Maintain radiation safety training and monitor methods to minimize exposure.
• Troubleshoot C-arm issues; maintain x-ray equipment and badge usage.
• Document fluoroscopy usage and image storage; follow aseptic technique.
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff.
• Demonstrate competency in intra-operative aseptic technique and related duties.
