Position Overview
Shift: 4 10-hour days
The successful candidate will operate routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently, adhere to all compliance policies, and perform responsibilities ethically. Key qualities include initiative, independent judgment, a positive attitude, and the ability to produce high-quality imaging with minimal repeats. The role involves managing multiple room assignments, performing various exams and interventional procedures daily, and communicating effectively with physicians, patients, families, and hospital staff.
Responsibilities include participating in performance improvement initiatives, assisting with departmental activities such as clerical duties, inventory, and light housekeeping, and potentially training new staff. Cross-training in additional modalities may be required.
The technologist will also recommend equipment repairs and process improvements, contribute to efficient scheduling and patient flow, and uphold quality assurance standards.
