Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to perform radiological procedures under radiologist supervision as part of the Medical Imaging team. You will contribute to high-quality patient care and work on complex diagnostic and interventional cases.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and relevant experience; weekday shifts with on-call weekends; on-site work.

Qualifications

BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
ARRT registered radiographer credential.
State Registered Radiologic Technologist credential.
Degree in radiologic technology (Associate, Bachelor or Certificate).
Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology experience or 3 years Radiology with OR/fluoroscopy.
Neuro experience is a plus.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Scrub and assist the physician in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Prepare patient for radiologic procedure by positioning and immobilization.
Assess patient factors affecting procedures and exposure factors.
Operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare room with supplies.
Maintain patient records, schedule patients, oversee transportation and ensure a positive encounter.
