Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio seeks an Interventional Radiographer to perform angiographic procedures and related imaging with a focus on high-quality results. Position located at Mount Carmel St. Ann's and requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiology license, and CPR certification.

The role includes RIS data entry, on-call coverage as applicable, and strict adherence to radiation safety policies. Prior diagnostic radiography experience, including angiography or cath cases, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered; valid Ohio Radiological License; CI or CV registry preferred.
• 2 years radiography experience; angiography or cath experience preferred.
• Maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional procedures and related imaging with emphasis on image quality.
• Enter online charges in the RIS system and ensure accuracy per policy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety guidelines per policy.

Description

Position located at Mount Carmel St. Ann'sPosition Purpose The Interventional Radiographer performs angiographic procedures including invasive vascular treatments and examinations of a technical level consistent with optimal image quality, including a variety of technical and non-technical tasks.

What you will do

• Performs a variety of interventional procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Follows guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.

What we are looking for

• Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Licensure / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required. CI or CV registry preferred.
• Experience: 2 years work experience in all phases of diagnostic radiography, preferred; with angiography, cardiac catherization, or surgery experience preferred.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
