Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking staff to assist interventionalists in procedures across interventional radiology, vascular surgery, oncology, vascular and trauma care. The role requires maintaining skills with instrumentation and adhering to infection prevention policies.

Candidates should have AMA approved Diagnostic Radiology training with registry eligibility, NJ DEP license on hire, and current BLS; ARRT and NJ-RADTECH licenses are also expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and registry eligible.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT license required; NJ-RADTECH license.

Responsibilities

• Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery.
• Handles supplies and instrumentation for interventional procedures.
• Adheres to infection prevention policies and uses PPE as required.

Short Description

Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery, but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.

Experience Required

1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred

Education Requirements

Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and therefore registry eligible.

NJ DEP license required upon hire

License/Certification Requirements

Current BLS.Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
