Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to support physicians during vascular procedures. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain sterile fields, monitor patient status, and ensure adherence to radiation safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, RT certification, and BLS. Associate degree preferred; IR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Licensed RT and BLS required; IR cert preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures.
  • Maintain sterile procedural environment and monitor patient status.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
  • Ensure radiation safety compliance and accurate procedural documentation.
  • Efficiently manage imaging equipment and supplies.

Short Description

The Vascular Technologist supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures by operating advanced imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile procedural environment, and monitoring patient status throughout treatment. This role works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, accurate procedural documentation, and efficient management of equipment and supplies

Education Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school.

Associate's degree preferred

License/Certification Requirements
  • Radiologic Technologist (RT) Certification
  • New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • IR cert preferred
Special Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the performance of vascular procedures
