Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, and GI studies. The role covers drainage and biopsies, plus post-processing and patient care per established protocols across age groups.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA/JRCERT accredited program and hold ARDMS/ARRT registration with BCLS. Advanced ARRT VI/CI certification is preferred and desirable for this hospital-based team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT registered radiographer; BCLS required; ARRT VI/CI advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing and related record keeping; follows protocols tailored to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
