Jefferson Bucks Hospital is seeking a board-certified Interventional Pulmonologist to lead and grow its interventional pulmonary program, providing advanced inpatient and outpatient care, developing a pleural disease service, and contributing to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Interventional Pulmonologist – Jefferson Bucks Hospital

Jefferson Bucks Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Pulmonologist to help build and expand our interventional pulmonary program. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a growing service line focused on delivering high-quality care for patients with complex airway and pleural diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures (flexible/rigid bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy).
  2. Lead the development of a pleural disease service, including a medical thoracoscopy program.
  3. Provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care (initially one day/week in the OR, with plans to expand).
  4. Collaborate with the Director of Interventional Pulmonology to establish a full-time program.
  5. Support vacation coverage for the main interventional pulmonary team.
  6. Participate in teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO; board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.
  • Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
  • Strong procedural and clinical skills, with excellent communication and teamwork.

Preferred:

  • Experience building clinical programs.
  • Academic involvement with teaching and research.
