Job summary

An established health system in the Greater Chicagoland area seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Pulmonologist to join its physician-led group. The role combines subspecialty clinical practice with high-tech hospital resources and a focus on work-life balance.

Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, you will work in a HIMSS Stage VII environment with EPIC EHR and AI-assisted documentation. Mentorship and a collaborative team will support your subspecialty goals.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship-trained in Interventional Pulmonology; Board certified or eligible.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligible within 90–120 days.
• Strong clinical competency in advanced airway, pleural, and interventional pulmonary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient interventional pulmonology care, advanced diagnostic procedures, and consultative care.
• Maintain a balanced schedule with clinic 2 days per week and dedicated inpatient procedural days.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4 to 1:6.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and hospital leadership.
• Help shape subspecialty clinical protocols while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient interventional pulmonology care, advanced diagnostic procedures, and consultative care
• Maintain a balanced schedule operating in clinic 2 days per week alongside dedicated inpatient procedural days

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
• Fellowship-trained in Interventional Pulmonology; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology and Interventional Pulmonology.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
• Strong clinical competency in advanced airway, pleural, and interventional pulmonary procedures with an interest in tailoring practice focus to long-term goals.
