Job description

Join Beth Israel Lahey Health as an Interventional Pulmonologist. You’ll be a full‑time, faculty‑appointed physician with opportunities for clinical practice, advanced training leadership, and innovative lung‑therapy research.

About the Role

As a vital member of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, you will perform a full range of interventional pulmonary procedures, lead the Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) program, and serve as Associate Program Director for an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship.

Key Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced bronchoscopy (navigation, robotic, EBUS‑TBNA) and pleural disease management.
  • Lead and expand the BLVR program, overseeing patient selection, multidisciplinary coordination, procedural excellence, and outcomes tracking.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care within a collaborative pulmonary practice.
Educational & Academic Leadership
  • Serve as Associate Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship.
  • Mentor fellows, residents, medical students, and PCCM fellows.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, simulation training, assessment, and scholarly activities.
  • Foster an inclusive, diverse training environment.
Research & Quality Improvement
  • Engage in clinical research related to interventional pulmonary procedures and BLVR.
  • Publish and present findings at scientific conferences.
  • Receive protected time for academic pursuits.
Qualifications
