Job summary

The role supports Interventional Pulmonary/Bronchoscopy procedures, mentors new staff, participates in quality improvement, and ensures safe, efficient operation of the Bronchoscopy Lab in collaboration with physicians and health care teams.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• NBRC credential and Florida license required before start and maintained during employment.
• BS in Respiratory Therapy preferred; prior bronchoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all necessary documentation for procedures and patient care.
• Coordinate patient transport and monitor during procedures; assist with specimen retrieval.
• Complete lab specimen forms and maintain bronchoscopy equipment knowledge.
• Demonstrate proficiency in aerosol procedures per departmental policies and procedures.
• Support operations in the bronchoscopy lab and assist with interventional pulmonology tasks.
