Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our outpatient practice in Maine. Provide non-surgical management of spine and musculoskeletal disorders using image-guided techniques.

The role balances clinic evaluations with procedures, emphasizing evidence-based, patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with PM&R residency requirement for practice.
• Fellowship in Interventional Spine, Pain Medicine, or Musculoskeletal Medicine preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R required or strongly preferred.
• Maine medical license is required or pending eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal and spine conditions.
• Perform interventional procedures including epidural injections, facet injections, RFA, SI joint injections, and ultrasound-guided techniques.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound guidance for procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Develop individualized non-operative treatment plans focused on function and rehabilitation.
