Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Pain/Spine Physiatrist to join the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

The role focuses on outpatient care with interventional spine/pain procedures and EMG as desired, within an academically affiliated health system serving Reading and Lancaster regions. Collaborate with established PM&R interventional pain physicians, primary care and specialists.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Be/BC in PM&R; subspecialty training in interventional pain/spine preferred.
• Ability to obtain PA medical license and federal/narcotics certificates.

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical practice in outpatient PM&R Academic Practice Division Clinics.
• Perform interventional spine and pain procedures; EMG studies if desired.
• General spine and musculoskeletal management and collaboration with PM&R/Pain teams.
• Contribute to resident and medical student education and participate in academic activities.
