Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a BC/BE fellowship-trained interventional pain physician to join an established practice in Falk Medical Building. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including salary, incentives, benefits, retirement, malpractice insurance, and CME funds of $4,110 per fiscal year.

Opportunity to participate in research, inpatient services, and teaching while collaborating with an interdisciplinary pain team and pursuing multimodal treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• BC/BE fellowship-trained interventional pain physician.
• Ability to supervise APPs and train medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose pain disorders and formulate treatment plans (interventions or medical management).
• Assess patients with a multidisciplinary team for multimodal therapy suitability.
• Supervise APPs and train residents and fellows.
• Rotating weekend coverage.
• Holiday coverage (one holiday per year).
• IP rounding in Oakland.
