Job summary
The Pain Center of Arizona in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our interventional pain team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients, assist with procedures, and develop comprehensive treatment plans to improve function and reduce pain.
Ideal candidates hold an Arizona NP or PA license, board certification, and DEA registration, with strong exam and communication skills and EMR experience.
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- National Board Certification.
- DEA registration and prescribing authority.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain.
- Assist with and perform interventional procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other providers.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance.
