Job summary

Allina Health Brain and Spine Institute is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to expand our Pain Management program in the northwest Twin Cities metro. A Pain Medicine fellowship is strongly preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with PM&R, Neurology, or Psychiatry residency training backgrounds.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluation and diagnosis, and designing rehabilitation programs, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine.
• Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Physical Medicine and Rehab, Neurology, or Psychiatry residency.
• Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Pain Medicine Fellowship or 3+ years of Pain Management practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients with physical or neurological impairments.
• Quality: utilize quality-improvement tools to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• May participate in ambulatory, inpatient, or on-call settings.
