Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare, through SIH's Brain and Spine Institute, seeks an Interventional Pain Physician. The role mixes procedural work with clinic duties, fostering a balance between patient care and hands-on procedures.

The candidate should have an ACGME Residency in anesthesia/psych/neuro or PM&R, a Pain Medicine fellowship of at least 12 months, or equivalent two-year pain management experience, plus ABMS board certification in Pain Medicine.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training program in anesthesiology, psychiatry and neurology or physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Pain Medicine of at least twelve months duration.
• In lieu of formal Pain Management training, physicians should have spent at least the last two years practicing pain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional pain medicine services.
• Balance the work week between procedural and clinic days.
