Job summary

Lexington Clinic is seeking a Supervisor-Specialty to manage daily operations of the Interventional Pain Management/Orthopedic & Neuroscience Center in Lexington, KY. The role includes coordinating nursing, technical, and front-desk activities, and providing evidence-based nursing care under direction of Practice Manager/Director.

Applicants should have an accredited LPN certificate, Kentucky licensure, BLS/CPR, and experience in medical office supervision.

Qualifications

• Formal training indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing.
• Current Kentucky state licensure required; basic life support and CPR certifications.
• Business degree and/or minimum two years broad experience with emphasis in medical office duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the department, including planning, coordinating and supervising nursing/technical and reception/preauthorization staff.
• Provide nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; apply basic nursing principles and ethics.
• Serve as a resource for staff and physicians; ensure compliance with patient management objectives.
