Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing Metro Atlanta network across multiple locations, within about an hour of Atlanta. Current Pain Medicine fellows and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

This physician-led practice offers strong compensation, no nights, no weekends, no hospital duties, 5 weeks PTO and CME days, and opportunities for leadership and ownership as you develop a long-term regional practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Fellowship training in Pain Management required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pain Medicine.
• Willingness to perform minimally invasive interventional procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Perform minimally invasive interventional pain procedures.
• Manage patients with spine and pain conditions.
• Provide medication management including opioid management when clinically indicated.
• Coordinate care with APPs, physicians, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations.
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.

Your Opportunity

As an Interventional Pain Management Physician, you'll evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of acute and chronic spine and pain conditions while developing your own clinical practice within a growing regional network.

For new fellowship graduates, this is an opportunity to put your training into practice while continuing to develop confidence, procedural expertise, and clinical independence within a collaborative physician environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform minimally invasive interventional pain procedures
• Manage patients with acute and chronic spine and pain conditions
• Provide appropriate medication management, including responsible opioid management when clinically indicated
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations
• Collaborate with APPs, physicians, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction
