Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• ABMS Fellowship training in Pain Medicine.
• ABMS Pain Medicine board certification or eligibility (must obtain board certification within 1 year).
• Unrestricted MD/DO license to practice in Maryland.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Patient consultations and follow-up evaluations.
• Coordinate care with other physicians and health care providers.
• Pharmacologic management of pain and related conditions.
• Spinal and peripheral interventional procedures and injections guided by ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
• Develop new patient referrals and community awareness of our services.
• Teach, mentor, and supervise mid-level practitioners.
• Provide compassionate medical advice to patients and the community.

Education

ABMS Fellowship training in Pain Medicine

ABMS Pain Medicine board certification or eligibility

Maryland medical license
