Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive pain management plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your expertise will play a critical role in improving the quality of life for patients through effective pain relief strategies.


Duties
  1. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their pain conditions and medical histories.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures.
  3. Perform procedures such as spinal taps, injections, and other minimally invasive techniques to alleviate pain.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, urologists, and specialists in hospice palliative medicine, to provide holistic care.
  5. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Experience
  1. Board certification in Pain Management or a related specialty.
  2. Experience in pediatric critical intensive care or senior care is preferred but not required.
  3. Familiarity with vascular radiography, wound care, nuclear medicine, and ICU settings is advantageous.
  4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  5. A commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
