Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join two physicians and two advanced practice providers in Chambersburg and Waynesboro, PA. The role includes performing a full range of interventional techniques and maintaining two to two and a half procedural days weekly based on patient volume.

Fellowship-trained and board-certified (or board-eligible for new grads) candidates are preferred. The position includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• DO or MD degree required and board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology or pain management.
• Licensed physician upon hire in Pennsylvania.
• Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional pain management procedures including epidurals and facet injections.
• Participate in a two-physician/two-APP coverage model across two locations.
• Maintain 2 to 2.5 procedural days per week based on volume.
• Cover Chambersburg and Waynesboro clinics and APS at Waynesboro hospital.

What You’ll Champion

• Join 2 other Pain physicians and 2 APPs in 2 covering 2 work locations
• 2 to 2.5 procedural days a week, based on volume
• Full complement of interventions: Peripheral joint, Trigger point, Facet & Sacroiliac joint injection and Epidurals. Spinal cord stims trials and Stellate ganglion blocks.
• Cover the Chambersburg clinic/APS and the Waynesboro clinic and APS at Waynesboro hospital
• Fellowship trained and Board Certified - or Board Eligible for new grad

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses And Training

• Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Upon Hire Required and
• Successful completion of an Anesthesiology residency. Upon Hire Required
