Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our Chambersburg and Waynesboro, PA locations on a full-time basis. The role includes a wide range of interventional procedures and collaboration with a small team of pain specialists and APPs.

Applicants must be DO or MD, board certified or eligible in Interventional Pain Management, and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. Residency in Anesthesiology and certification by AB anesthesiology are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management.
• Full scope of practice in pain management and related interventional procedures.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Chambersburg and Waynesboro clinics and APS, working as part of a team of 2 other pain physicians and 2 advanced practice providers.
• Provide a full complement of interventions including peripheral joint, trigger point, facet, sacroiliac joint injections, epidurals, spinal cord stimulator trials, and stellate ganglion blocks.
• Maintain 2 to 2.5 procedural days per week based on patient volume.
• Collaborate with interventional colleagues to deliver high‑quality patient care at both locations.
• Participate in peer‑review and continuous quality improvement activities.

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon upon hire.
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire (if applicable).

Training & Certification

• Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology required.
• Successful completion of an anesthesiology residency required.
