Maryland Cardiac Care LLC in Rockville, MD is seeking a board-certified interventional or non-invasive cardiologist to join our busy practice. The role emphasizes high-quality cardiovascular care within a collaborative office culture.

The practice operates at one office location and works with nearby hospitals to provide comprehensive cardiac services, including diagnostic testing and interventional procedures. A strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care is central to our approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology or General Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, and EKGs.
• Conduct interventional procedures including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stent placements (interventional candidates).
• Develop and manage individualized patient treatment plans and long-term cardiac care strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including cardiac surgeons, hospitalists, and primary care physicians.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide patient and family education on cardiovascular health, risk reduction, and disease management

About the Role:

Maryland Cardiac Care LLC would like to introduce you to an opportunity to practice cardiology in Rockville, MD - a suburb of Washington, DC. This is an ideal location in central Maryland with all the benefits of living close to a major metropolitan area, but also with access to the mountains, ocean, and more rural communities. The practice currently consists of 1 interventional cardiologist and 3 full time nurse practitioners. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced board certified non-invasive or interventional cardiologist looking to leave corporate or academic medicine and join a healthy group. The practice has one office location and performs procedures at two local hospitals. You would be joining a busy group that has steady growth and will be able to provide top notch care. We especially value excellent clinical care, teamwork, and have a strong and collaborative office culture.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience with cardiac catheterization lab procedures preferred for interventional candidates
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient rapport skills
