Medical City Plano Hospital in Plano, Texas is seeking a board-certified PA or ACNP to join a highly skilled Interventional Neurology team providing acute stroke and neurologic care. Weekend coverage is required, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and evidence-based patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes hospital-based neurology exposure, teamwork with Neurology specialists, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a leading academic-leaning community hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• Eligible for or currently holding an active Texas license.
• Prior hospital-based neurology, stroke, or neurocritical care experience preferred.
• Weekend-only coverage.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside interventional neurologists to provide comprehensive care for acute stroke and complex neurological patients.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to evidence-based treatment plans.
