LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified neurologist with interventional training for inpatient neuroendovascular coverage in Ohio. The role involves a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shifts, plus 24/7 on-call support for neuroendovascular cases and ED stroke activations.
You'll manage the inpatient neuroendovascular service, evaluate new admissions, and provide procedural support for emergent neurovascular conditions. On-site assignment with locum-tenens engagement.
This inpatient facility in Ohio maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support locum tenens interventional neurology coverage. The facility operates on-site and is structured to ensure coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. Locum Tenens interventional neurology coverage is sought to address current inpatient staffing needs.
Ohio offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities throughout the state. Cultural destinations include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as well as Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The state also provides a variety of recreational activities, including comedy shows, concerts, amusement parks, and museums, suited to varied interests during time away from the clinical setting.
This position works approximately one week per month on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, while also providing 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage and responding to emergency department stroke alerts at all hours.
Responsibilities include managing the inpatient neuroendovascular service, evaluating and treating new patients admitted through call coverage or stroke activations, and providing consultation and procedural support as needed. Required skills include the ability to independently perform 24/7 neuroendovascular call duties, respond to 24/7 ED stroke alerts, assess and manage acute stroke patients, and provide comprehensive neuroendovascular care for both inpatient and emergent cases.
