Job summary

Penn Medicine at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform advanced neuro interventional and interventional radiology patient care, assist in procedures, and contribute to department quality initiatives. Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift, with minimal weekend/on-call rotation.

Must meet one of the following: AMA approved Radiological Technology program with certification within 2 years, ARRT RT, RCIS, or VI certification.

Qualifications

• Must meet ONE of the following: AMA approved Radiological Technology School w/ certification w/in 2 years from the date of hire.
• Radiological Technology (RT) certification by ARRT.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by CCI.
• Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) certification by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced neuro interventional procedure or Interventional radiology patient care activities across age groups.
• Assists in development and monitoring of department systems and in coordination of activities to improve patient care quality.
• Assists physicians during invasive neurovascular and other procedures and provides radiographic care as needed.
• Provides didactic and clinical training to new employees and students.
