Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, seeks a per diem RN for Interventional Radiology nursing. The RN will care for patients undergoing interventional procedures, perform pre- and post-procedure care, and conduct pre-procedure screening for IN/IR patients.

Requirements include a BSN, MA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with 2 years of critical care experience. Sedation experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
• ACLS required
• Excellent IV skills
• 2 years of critical care experience required
• Background in Interventional Nursing strongly preferred (Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Endoscopy)
• Procedural sedation experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing interventional procedures requiring sedation.
• Assess, monitor and provide care before, during and after the procedure.
• Pre-procedure phone screening for IN/IR patients.
