Job summary

Novant Health Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiology team in the Winston-Salem market. The role involves managing inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology patients, with subspecialization in ACS, PCI, CTO, structural heart disease, and related procedures under physician supervision.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or higher, NCCPA/ANCC certifications, and state licensure with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher required.
• Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Current NP or PA license in appropriate state; NCCPA/AANP/ANCC board certification and DEA registration required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (training available).

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient and outpatient interventional/invasive cardiology patients.
• Subspecialize in ACS, PCI, CTO, structural heart disease, renal denervation, and PE programs.
• Provide medication management and peri-procedural care; conduct post-procedural follow-up.
• Assist with cross-coverage in general cardiology; training provided.
• Full-time hours with occasional weekend/holiday coverage; multiple locations in Forsyth area.

• Subspecialize in a broad range of interventional/invasive cardiology care: ACS, PCI, CTO, structural heart disease, renal denervation, and PE program. Manage medication management, peri-procedural care, post-procedural outpatient follow-up, and long-term outpatient follow-up.
• Cross-coverage in general cardiology will be involved, with training provided.
• Hours: Full-time, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis among the cardiology APP group.
