Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced Special Procedures Technologist in White Plains, NY to join our hospital partner's radiology team. The role focuses on interventional imaging in the operating room, collaborating with radiologists and surgeons to ensure high-quality scans and patient safety.

On-call rotation and on-site responsibilities are required. The ideal candidate has an accredited radiography program, NY DOH licensure or Limited Permit, ARRT registration, and at least 2 years of Neuro

Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health education program at an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
• Current New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit.
• ARRT Registered: RT and Radiograph.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Neuro Interventional experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional imaging and special procedures with correct patient positioning and protocol adherence.
• Assist physicians during complex procedures, ensuring equipment is prepared and operational.
• Produce high-quality images, review scans for completeness, and perform QA/calibrations.
• Provide patient and family education regarding examinations and ensure a supportive clinical experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; report malfunctioning equipment; document in EMR/PACS.
