Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of complex imaging examinations and assist physicians in interventional procedures such as angiograms and vascular interventions. The role requires adherence to safety standards and precise imaging workflow within a high-volume clinical setting.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate, NY licensure, ARRT registration, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• New York State DOH licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration is required; ARRT advanced registration preferred.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Radiology Technologist; interventional imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of imaging equipment in routine and special procedures.
• Prepare sterile trays for interventional procedures following policies.
• Prepare intravenous contrast injector per safety standards.
• Position patients and provide protection as required.
• Set up imaging equipment and perform prescribed procedures in a timely manner.
• Monitor patients during examinations and report any abnormal conditions.
• Assist in emergencies as directed and prepare images for review.
