Qualifications

• Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Visual color acuity screening may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician and provides direct care to patients.
• Helps physicians with complicated interventional cases for optimal outcomes.
• Contributes to operational functions through schedule development.
• Maintains supplies and equipment necessary for the GI lab.

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent or post-secondary education
• SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs
• One (1) year of experience as an Interventional GI Lab Technician
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units.

Preferred

• Two (2) years of experience as an Interventional GI Tech
