Job summary

The University of Washington Medical Center – Montlake seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to join its renowned Cardiac Cath Lab, delivering advanced interventional care in a fast-paced setting. You will scrub, monitor, and circulate complex cases, collaborating closely with physicians to respond to hemodynamic changes and patient conditions.

The team performs PCI, CTO, structural heart procedures, and other advanced interventions.

Qualifications

• AA degree from CVT program with registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS).
• AA degree from Radiologic Technologist program with ARRT registration and WA licensure as Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and staff; participate in CQI activities as applicable.
• Handle case types including PCI, CTO, structural heart, heart failure/transplant, and adult congenital procedures.
