Job summary

UW Medical Center - Northwest Cath and EP Lab is hiring a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to join a dynamic team delivering advanced interventional cardiovascular care in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during interventional procedures, with opportunities to participate in device implants and ablations. Requires WA CIS licensure and CCI registration or ARRT + WA RT licensure; on-site, full-time schedule with on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• AA degree from an accredited CVT program and registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS).
• Or AA degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with ARRT registration and licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor and circulate interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab; EP Lab scrubbing for device implants and ablations. Training available for EP monitor duties.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and staff; monitor hemodynamics and report changes promptly.
• Support diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, ablations, device implants, and support devices as applicable.
